Campsites along the French south coast
The French South Coast is littered with campsites, both directly on the coast and more inland.
The emphasis here in the south is on the large campsites with a lot of luxury, especially in and around the famous seaside resorts such as Argelès-sur-Mer, Agde and Fréjus. You will find many of the characteristic blue swimming pools with often several slides, multiple basins and sometimes even huge play racks right in the water.
