Campsites in the Dordogne
You won't find many really big campsites here, but there are many good places to stay here. Often, people like to camp on one of the campsites directly by the river. For example, in the west of this area you have Camping Les Bo-Bains, with private access to the river bank, but also a swimming pool, shop and restaurant and entertainment for the children.
A little further is Camping Le Port De Limeuil, a four-star campsite as well, with a swimming pool and its own access to the river, but a bit smaller in scope. More to the east, below Sarlat, is Camping Le Plein Air Des Bories (three stars), with its own river beach, swimming pool and playground.
An overview of campsites in the Dordogne that are close to the river can be found here. If you don't think it's important to be close to the river, check out our overview of campsites throughout the Dordogne.
