Campsites in the Dordogne
You won't find real mass tourism and the associated mega campsites here, but there is plenty to offer. Many people like to stand on one of the campsites directly on the river. For example, in the west of the area you have Camping Bo-Bains , with private access to the river bank, but also a swimming pool, shop and restaurant and entertainment for the children. A little further is Camping Le Port de Limeuil , also a four-star campsite with swimming pool and its own access to the river, but a bit smaller in scope. More to the east, below Sarlat, is Camping Le Plein Air Des Bories (three stars), with its own river beach, swimming pool and playground.
